What If My Dog Is Fearful Or Reactive?
I completely understand the challenges of working with fearful or reactive dogs. Before your session, we’ll discuss your dog’s specific needs to choose a location that will make them feel most comfortable. I also keep my interactions with your dog minimal when we first meet, helping to reduce stress and allow them to settle in.
What If My Dog Can't Be Off Leash?
Surprisingly, most of my sessions are done with dogs on leash! Thanks to advanced editing techniques, leashes are seamlessly removed from the final images—you’d never guess they were even there. Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, so whether they need to stay leashed or have unique boundaries, I’ll make it work effortlessly.
What If My Dog Isn't Well Behaved?
Basic training like sit and stay can make your photoshoot smoother, but I’ve worked with dogs of all abilities and always capture stunning results. If your pup has specific needs, I’ll choose a location that suits them, like quiet, low-distraction areas. We’ll discuss everything beforehand to ensure your dog feels comfortable!
What If My Dog Won't Sit Still?
Don’t stress about how your pet will behave during the session! I’ve worked with all breeds and ages, and while every pet brings their own challenges, I’m here to guide you both to get the beautiful portraits you deserve.
What If The Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
Since weather can be unpredictable, I’ll connect with you on the day of your session to confirm if it’s good to go or if we need to reschedule.
When Will I Receive My Photos?
You’ll receive your fully edited photos within 2-3 weeks after your session. I put a lot of time and care into editing each image to ensure the best quality for you and your pup!
How Far Out Do You Book?
I typically book sessions 4-6 weeks in advance. While availability can vary depending on the season and workload, it’s always best to plan ahead to secure your session date!
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
I don't offer payment plans for session fees at this time. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Do You Require A Retainer?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to book your session. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the shoot and can be paid by cash or e-transfer.
Do You Photograph Other Animals?
At this time, I specialize in dogs, but I’m excited to be adding other animals to my roster soon! Feel free to reach out if you have any other pets in mind, and we can chat about future possibilities!
